Cancellation and No-Show Policy

MISSED APPOINTMENTS OR LATE CANCELLATIONS

Your appointments are reserved just for you. Once an appointment hour is scheduled, you are responsible for payment of the session unless you reschedule or cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment. Missed sessions are not billable to insurance and will be charged directly to your debit/credit card. A charge of $50 is applied when appointments are missed or cancelled with less than 24 hours notice.

Missed sessions or late cancellation fees are occasionally waived at my discretion, so please contact me if you if you have difficulty attending a session. If possible, I will try to find another time to reschedule the appointment.

You may cancel or reschedule your appointment by calling or texting my office at (828) 278-3722 or by using the client portal.

LATE APPOINTMENT ATTENDANCE

It is important for you to be on time for your appointments to make full use of the session. However, I understand that life events may interfere with punctual attendance, so please call, email, or text if you anticipate arriving late to your appointment. If you do arrive late, we will typically finish at your scheduled end time as if we started our session on time. This is to ensure that I am fair to my other clients who show up on time for their scheduled session.

TERMINATION DUE TO MISSED SESSIONS

If you miss more than 2 sessions in a row and I do not hear from you within three days after the second missed session, I will assume that you have terminated services with me. Should this happen, any outstanding balance will be charged to your card and your account will be closed to make room for other clients. You are welcome to contact me about resuming work with me, but I can guarantee neither current availability nor the availability of your previously held appointment time.
